
Eagle Tribune | Brother Rene D. Roy has been named the first president emeritus of Central Catholic High School.
Roy, a 1959 graduate of Central Catholic and former president of the school from 2005 to 2009, was bestowed the title during opening mass on Oct. 1.
Central Catholic President Christopher F. Sullivan (Class of 1981), in collaboration with Gino Baroni (Class of 1974), chairperson of the board of directors for Central Catholic; former board chairperson Joseph Faro (Class of 1987), and Brother Patrick McNamara, provincial of the Marist Brothers of the United States of America, presented Roy with the honor.
